Job Purpose
The Assistant Accounting Manager is under the supervision of Accounting Manager; provide analytical assistance and oversight to accounting functions. Assist and supervises staff accountants and is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and support of budget and forecast activities.
Job Description

Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close of assigned companies.

Prepare month-end entries and analyze monthly Profit and Loss Statement for assigned companies.

Monitor the companies' Chart of Accounts and create adjusting entries necessary to correct erroneous posting of transactions, reconcile entries, write-off accounts as approved by management, or in any other case necessary to reflect correct balances.

Prepare Income & Expense analysis per Job Control to determine actual unbilled charges and expenses for accrual.

Coordinate with external auditors for annual audit or other engagements of all companies.

Respond to inquiries from the other firm-wide managers regarding financial results and other financial matters.

Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.

Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent
Qualification:​

With 2 years Audit experience and 5 years local accounting experience
